AUDITIONS

The Rhode Island Wind Ensemble currently has openings for talented adult musicians in the following areas:

Bassoon
Tenor Saxophone
Baritone Saxophone
Trumpet
Principal Trombone
Percussion
String Bass

Auditions will be held on Thursday September 8, 2011 from 5-10pm. They will be held at the Nazarian Center for Performing Arts at RIC in room #255. New members are chosen based on their musical ability, but also on their readiness to faithfully commit to the band's schedule of concerts and rehearsals. The Rhode Island Wind Ensemble rehearses on Thursday evenings from 7:30-9:30 pm at the John Nazarian Center for the Performing Arts at Rhode Island College in Providence (directions).
