“
October 2017
“It was a tremendous pleasure to conduct my work “Flowing Pens from Concord” with the Rhode Island Wind Ensemble this past Sunday. The musicianship rose to the occasion, and the audience was treated to a stellar performance of the work. As I commonly say, my work is only as good as it is played; the ensemble certainly made me sound good. Thank you for all your hard work, capable musicianship, and all the other things you do to make community bands thrive. ”
— Roger Cichy, composer
